There's something fishy going on here... Look beyond the cutesy paintwork for a moment and you’ll see Citroen’s new Nemo Concetto, a van-derived people carrier concept that’s based on the recently launched Nemo commercial van. The idea behind the Nemo – a three-way development with Fiat and Peugeot – is to tap into the massive European market for van-based family cars.
Nico Rosberg is on pole position for the Shanghai Grand Prix
Nico Rosberg is on pole position for Mercedes in the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai with team mate Michael Schumacher alongside. Not only has Nico Rosberg taken pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, but he did it with one flying lap at the start of final qualifying to take his first F1 pole and Mercedes first since their return to F1 in 2010 after an absence of more than half a century. Rosberg beat second place man Hamilton by a full half second, but Hamilton has a five place penalty for a gearbox change so starts seventh.
Mercedes-Benz sources in Germany have confirmed Chinese media reports suggesting that parent company Daimler and Chinese carmaker BYD's new joint venture brand will be called Denza. Created as a Chinese-market-only brand, Denza is planned to support a range of "affordable" electric-powered vehicles, the first of which is set to be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next month. Based on the underpinnings of the first-generation Mercedes-Benz B-class--a car originally designed to accept batteries within its flat floor structure--the first Denza model was developed in China by a team of engineers from both Daimler and BYD Auto.
